Kuban took third place in the rating of investment attractiveness of regions in 2021

Kuban entered the top 5 regions in the rating of investment attractiveness for nine months of 2021 taking the third line of the list. The research was carried out by Expert, a credit rating agency.

The growth in the investment attractiveness of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation was noted in 2020. It maintained a positive trend from January to September 2021.

The Arkhangelsk Region became the leader in terms of investment attractiveness; the Moscow Region took second place. The Primorskiy Territory took the fourth position. The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District ranked fifth. These regions were included in the A-1 group (the highest level of investment attractiveness).

«The attractiveness of the regions is largely determined by their high domestic demand, a developed resource base, or proximity to the capital,» – the research states.

The experts compiled the ranking based on integral indicators for assessing the infrastructural, social, economic, financial resources of the regions and assessing the state of their environment.

Previously, the Krasnodar Region was on the top of the rating of the most attractive tourist regions for investment in Russia. The analytics were prepared by the National Union of the Hospitality Industry and the International Center for Creative Hospitality under the sponsorship of the RosCongress Investments Fund.
